______Inspiration
Detail_____
I did this for an art
contest, where the given
theme was Echo.
My associations included
the Greek Nymph after the
phenomenon was named, the responsive speaker by amazon,
echolocation, thus bats, dolphins, submarines, echocardiography and the concept of karma. Those combined make up the basis of the Karmamobile.
Mindmap
A work for the promotion of a play of a theatre project.
It explored the interconnectedness of various views of the human heart. My idea was to do an overgrown mind map to represent the way the play explored the subject from all the different angles together with the audience..

Ad concept
Getränke Hoffmann
For advertising an established company’s new delivery service in the Berlin region on a truck,
the objective of an open tender was to design a concept for the truck tarpaulin.
My idea was to show the single steps the beverage undertook from production to consumption, telling the story of its journey in one picture.

Phobophobia
Phobophobia translates to the fear of fear. I wanted to illustrate a card deck about seemingly weird, less known Phobias, as I myself am affected by one.
The idea was to include an informational booklet with the set. This would be a way to spread awareness and knowledge about the people affected by the phobia, how it comes to be, and how to handle a phobia-based reaction empathetically.
When time allows, I would love to complete and publish it some day.

The Green Woman project-Preperations
The Green Woman occupied nearly a whole 8 months of my year 2023.
Throughout my yearlong journey of healing from trauma, I felt a longing in me that I could not quite put my finger on. It wanted to take shape somehow, so I started looking for ways in which I could express it.

finding the shape and creating samples
After drafting and experimenting for a while, I realised that this one had to come to life in the three-dimensional world.

etching,
Pencil and graphite on paper
retouched in adobe lightroom
210mm x 297mm
I wanted to experiment with etching.
Also, I wanted to confront myself with a confusing, scary, and surreal dream I had.
Jens M. Weber, René Magritte, and an old sketchbook page of mine were my inspirations in regards to the style.

Acrylics, charcoal and chalk on canvas
each 60 x 80 cm
For the first time, with a larger project, I decided to skip the planning stage and just let the
impressions from rehearsals of every act flow onto the canvas.
I had loads of fun with this approach and love to come back to it from time to time.
This is another work done to promote a theatre’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in three acts.
also won the Youth-Art Award Berlin mitte 2021.

On finding inspiration
I regularly take photos of things or scenes that inspire me somehow. Mostly, I find inspiration in the parks, people, and nature of Berlin. I try to always keep an open eye for interesting shapes, textures, and colours, as well as peculiar scenes, and have my phone ready for a quick snapshot.
Here are some of the latest ones.
Self-potraits
I started this ongoing series of self-portraits in 2020 after getting diagnosed with PTBS and chronic depression. I wanted to document the state of my self-perception by photographing myself.
As I am not a professional photographer, nor do I aspire to be one, I mostly use only my phone as a camera and do not edit my photos professionally.
